Except Freddie Roach agrees with all three...which is why he took the chance with the fight.

Yep. Frist thing I thought when I seen DLHs shape was, I wish this was the Mayorga fight. Manny didnt get a free win or anything but that was far from DLHs best.

Manny is just that good! But Oscar's weight did play a role in him looking so poor, still Pacquiao's speed was a huge factor.

fasthard, actually de le hoya made weight first before he started training. he trained at around 145 the whole time not a week before, his camp and trainer wanted to do this so he could deal with pacquiao's speed, but manny still was too fast

              He isn't shot. No way!

Weight drained? I don't think so. It conflicts 100% with the comments he made before the fight about how great he feels, how he hasn't felt this good in a long time, can run for 10 miles and spar for 12 rounds easily. His trainers were saying he "sees things before they happen". Is this just hype to sell the fight? Maybe a little bit of hype, but Oscar really believed what he was saying. He seemed very confident that he would KO Pac (6th round was Oscar's prediction).

Manny is a great fighter. <-- This is the ONLY variable that is undoubted.

                Good question.

Let's ask the same question about Manny.

Oscar has been "in the best shape of my life" going into his last 30 fights.
