Floyd is the better all round professional prizefighter. In some categories, bhop can be better, but overall i think floyd takes it. Im a fan of both so im feeling very unbiased.

            and why
B-Hop has a better right straight and is better on the inside. Mayweather is better on the outside and his accuracy is slightly better. I give the slight edge to Mayweather in defense overall...but B-Hop is the better inside fighter/ body puncher...if we're talkin prime here.

I don't think the Mercado fight is a good example because of the altitude. I t played a big part in those knockdowns and Bernard's overall performance. Altitude was also a problem for Lewis vs. Rahman 1. Lewis was knocked out, and Bernard was knocked down. Bring them both back down to earth and they destroyed Mercado and Rahman.

Bernard is one hell of a fighter and I have a great deal of respect for him, but if we are talking technical ability, offensively or defensively, it is Mayweather all the way for mine.

Altitude can affect stamina, but Hopkins' defense was bad from the get go and unlike Lewis, Hopkins was training for the fight whereas Lewis was taking Rahman lightly, not to say the altitude didn't affect him, it did as the fight went on but his defense wasn't good from the beginning of the fight.

I heard Hops didn't train well for that fight?

I haven't heard that before and I've never heard Hopkins say that either, I heard there were some people trying to rattle him in Ecuador, didn't hear him say anything about him not training well though.
