Morales beat Pac in the first fight. Morales steps up to the next division because he was having trouble making the weight. He fights Zahir and loses, which either shows Zahir is the better boxer or it shows that Morales is past his prime (which is the obvious).
Anyway, Morales wanted the fight in the next division where he felt healthier; that was the talk. Freddie said "NO." Wonder why. So Morales moved back down and looked ill...especially in the third fight.

Oscar: If he knew Oscar "couldn't pull the trigger," and as he said, knew the history of the sport that fighters in Oscar's position had serious trouble when they moved back down in weight...why did he take the fight knowing all that; especially given his own health with parkinsons?

I do like Freddie. It's just this side of him, with him trying to win fights on the scales and at the negotiation table that kind of annoys me. I expect this more from a Promoter/Manager but I guess that is what Freddie is or has become. And I'm not talking about all Promoters/Managers, but the worst kind. That I don't like and saddens me given how much I like him. I can understand it, but it doesn't mean I agree with it.

Recent: Freddie's talk about how Floyd has to come down in weight and joked that the only way they would fight Margarito is if he came down in weight at a "catch-weight." The guy is honest and funny in a way, but not something I'm in favor of.
I think this is a little bit far fetched. I'll ask you again.

When was knocking your opponent who's in front of you and can knock you down in 1 left hook was a cowardly act?

Im not buying your post, sorry. You like Freddie yet you're ripping him off. And it's not even related to the topic of being coward. How bout making a thread of that matter?

3 months ago there were only a bunch of people believing Roach and now after he proved he was right he then became an opportunist?

I like her when she sings "SWAY." Although I like Dean Martin's version better. Buble is cool as well.

I'm not sure why you don't get that it starts from the moment you think up the idea of making the fight and then agreeing on it...then signing a contract with what you want to give your fighter even greater advantages over a fighter that already has disadvantages and probably shouldn't be fighting in this particular weight and fight at this point in his career. Just because a crack-head wants his crack, doesn't mean you should give him that last dose that kills him.

At least Rocky felt bad when he had to fight Joe Louis and was begged to take the fight because Joe needed it. It also helped serve to set him up for a title shot. So, in a way, even though he had choice to not take the fight, there wasn't much room on the road to avoid it. And this was at HW so they didn't even have to make weight with fear of losing millions.

Freddie had a choice because he didn't need to take this fight even if Oscar was pulling for it. I would say Freddie was just trying to teach Oscar a lesson, but I kind of doubt it.

As far as Pac and being in the actual fight: He had to do what he had to do.

And yes, I do like Freddie but maybe unlike you who doesn't get that you don't have to like everything about a person, I am still ojbective. Hell, I love my brother but I disagree with some of the things he does and call him on it.
It is because I like them that it can make me confused and a bit upset on why they do it even though I can reason it...I don't agree with it.

No problem. Thanks for posting up the song.

Did you read the latest one I put up?

When you have time, I suggest reading it. It's funny and informative on fighting back then.
