You see, what you and some others fail to realize is that there is this agreement that Boxers have with the Boxing Gods. In exchange for their health, which will decline with each year and each fight, and their entertainment failure....in return, they get paid for their sacrifices.

You seems very defensive, I didn't even mentioned a name yet you mentioned Pac which clearly shows how objective your posts are.

A coward would be a grown man who is afraid to "disappoint" the idiots in the seats and is willing to die like a dumb ass for "glory." It takes a brave man to know that getting abused for applause is just idiotic.

Pac is the big name on the scene and the interview should still be fresh in people's mind, so it was the obvious choice given the post.
I don't know any other fighter that is being mentioned right now that will retire soon after two more fights given the fighter is at his peak.
Unless we want to go way back to Benny Leonard. He retired relatively young if we go by number/age of birth...about 28. Of course, he would have to come back because he lost a lot of money in stocks. But when he first retired, he was Champ and was still arguably in his prime.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 12-26-2008, 01:02 PM.

He should have retired at the post-press-conference. This is what I thought he was leaning towards. It's his choice though.

Clearly you are pertaining to Roach when he said to Manny to knock DLH out because it's his job, I don't know any other trainer who said that to his fighter who is being mentioned right now, other than Roach
Unless you can show me another video of a trainer saying that.
