    Good call!

I totally forgot that one, I expected Mijares to school Vic but...dayum!

I know people aren't seriously picking Hatton's performance against Paulie Malignaggi ahead of Hopkins against Pavlik. Seen as the person that would be taking the old dog out back he was comprehensively schooled and didnt look like the undisputed Middleweight champion of the world

Lets not forget, Pavlik moved up in weight to fight a bigger man who was used to the weight. And he had an elbow injury, but wouldn't back out of the fight.

You weren't calling him a bum before Vitali beat him.

It's poor sportsmanship and low class, discrediting boxers by saying their defeated opponents are all bums.

Go back and read my posts, I have had a lot to say about Sam Peter. By the way, a man choses to be a "bum" and perform poorly, but he does not chose to be born with lots of talent like Lennox Lewis or little talent like Sam Peter. As it happens both Lewis and Peter performed like bums against Vitali Klitschko. That is one lucky Ukrainian.

Is he? When is the last time he went the distance in a life and death struggle with an opponent like Frazier or Norton? The only time he was ever faced with adversity he quit.

Only four fighters (Sanders, Purrity, Hoffmann and Lewis) ever gave him any adversity at all, he didn't quit against any of them.

Peter didn't really come to fight. Margarito crushing Cotto's will to fight was more impressive.

What you call "adversity" is rather lame. Muhammad Ali was pissing blood for a week after fighting George Chuvalo.

George Chuvalo was somewhat limited fighter with an excellent chin, about the same level as Hoffmann, Purrity, and Peter. I'm surprised he could do that to Ali.

Of course, the fighters of that era are overrated, because they were watched by the "Baby Boom" generation in their youth.
