Better legacy. Marciano or Mayweather Jr?

If Floyd were to stay retired, he and Marciano would be 2 of a very short list of boxers who retired undefeated. Who do you think had the better legacy, and accomplished more throughout thier careers?

According to the last 10 threads I've seen around here the answer is:

    JOE CALZAGHE.

Marciano fought absolutely no prime fighters in his career

The only reason Marciano has a better legacy than Mayweather in people opinion is because he is the only undefeated HW

He fought prime top heavyweight contenders such as LaStarza, Rex Layne, 'Kid' Matthews but no great fighters in their prime.

Despite not being in their prime, Charles, Walcott and Moore were definitely not shot either at the time Rocky beat them.

Although i expect Marciano to win the poll due to nostalgia and the fact that certain posters may have an agenda against a fighter like Mayweather and certain fanboyism over a fighter like Marciano, It is clear to me that Mayweather is P4P the better, more skilled fighter, His 6 titles in 5 weight divisions and his better resume also adds onto the fact that he has the better legacy IMO

Moore was more of a LHW fighter

I reject the premise. Short of dying in a plane crash there is no way Mayweather is done. He will be beat.

Yes but he was the Ring magazine number 1 ranked heavyweight contender in the world at the time Rocky fought him because he had won a decision over the previous number 1 6'3, 210+ lb Nino Valdes.
