    The_Bringer, Precision, warp.

The fight was very close but I urge all three of you to watch it again. The rounds were close but Calzaghe definitely won the fight by a good few rounds just by outworking Hopkins.

I know Hopkins is your boy but it's time to swallow your pride and admitt he lost like many of the Hopkins fans have.

Didn't Brian Kenny think Hopkins one too?

I only watched it once and didn't bother to score it, but I remember feeling that Hopkins was winning the fight up until he started to run out of gas and ended up letting the fight slip away.

It would be interesting if I sat down and scored it, but that fight isn't worth going back over.

After it was all said and done, I was actually surprised Hopkins did as well as he did; I didn't expect that. Hopkins always makes fights close, but at that stage, that was something.

I am a fan and someone who knows about boxing. He won that fight easily. No contest. His white boy comments cost him the fight. Cal never punched him once.

Hopkins losses were losses mostly caused by his own inactivity,Im a fan,but I think its fair to say outside of Jones,Hopkins lost himself those other fights!!

I'm a fan of Hopkins and Calzaghe, I had it 114-113 Calzaghe.

Hopkins nor Calzaghe want Dawson, they should rematch in Wales.

Perhaps you should rewatch it yourself. Take a look at the exchanges in slow-motion then come back and tell me he "definitely" won the fight.

I've always given Joe credit for getting the decision against Hopkins. I thought Hopkins edged it, but I have really no compliants about it going to Joe like I do with the second Taylor fight.

Rewatching it, I still have it 114-113 for Hopkins, but unlike my previous thread, I thought round 8 was a pretty close, in which could have been Joe's round. 5 and 7 are close, but Hopkins managed to win them. Atleast round 5 imo.

I have no people scoring this fight for Calzaghe if it's in the 114-113 or 115-112 range. Anything higher then that is absurd though.

The rounds was close but at best for Hopkins it's a draw with the knockdown, that's giving him EVERY swing round. I think it's easy to pick Calzaghe as the winner. You have to rewatch the fight if you thought Hopkins won.

                    Calzaghe outworked him.
