Don't get carried away. I used the pic because it displayed the gloves. It was the first clean photo showing the gloves that came under what I typed in google search. It's easy to pick a random photo of Morales punching Pac. fact is, the fight was 115-113. 7-5 for Morales.
The gloves were always an issue.

Why were they such an issue for a great fighter like Pac?
Floyd was able to overcome the glove thing. And Morales has fought with a variety of gloves as well.
And, the weight for the other fights weren't an issue, especially for the third fight? come on; Morales showed up dead and that is what Freddie wanted. It's one thing I have against Freddie despite liking him as a trainer.Comment

Dude, we can argue tit for tat all day, but it's pointless.

HEALTH is more important that gloves.
Morales was dying on the scales and asked for the fight to take place in the next division up but Freddie knowing it would be an advantage for Pac to fight a dying Morales, said "NO."
Gloves are just gloves for "great" fighters.
Look at this:
When Floyd fought Oscar, it was at 154 and with Reyes gloves that Oscar wanted Floyd to wear because he knew Floyd has brittle hands. Oscar at 154 was healthy in weight and even rehydrated above 160.
Floyd didn't try to steal a victory nor did he ***** about anything Oscar wanted from him.Comment

in my 4 years here, and my time on AOL sports boards (97-01) floyd is easily the most hated fighter i have ever seen on the internet. tyson and roy jones are close, but floyd easily takes the cakeThere are more Floyd fans on here than any other site I've seen.
On ESB, it seems less biased in favor of Floyd. I was reading an article on there yesterday ('There Goes The Neighborhood': Floyd Mayweather Jr. Resurfaces Making Much Noise!) and in the comments Floyd was errr.... not very popular, to put it mildly.
Yes. Boxing Scene appears to harbor more Floyd fanboys.Comment
