If Floyd could fight in the way he did against Diego, I would favor him against Margarito. Against Williams...eh, not so sure. I would favor Williams actually.

It's hard to be the underdog when you are regarded to be the best boxer P4P and one of the ATG. He would probably be favored over all three: Cotto, Williams, and Margarito, even though he probably shouldn't...at least Williams should be favored...followed by Margarito.

Yep, I think that he could get up mentally for a fight with Pac. About the lay-off, I think it could benefit him somewhat. I doubt Floyd will have gotten into bad habbits to get out of shape, but the break from all the hard training will have given his body a break.

Diego's mental state was way off. He was going through legal battles at the time. I'm not sure if the win over Diego was as fantastic as some make it out to be.

Williams probably has a better defense than Diego. Margo wouldn't even feel Floyd's punches! He would laugh and say "OK, stop tickling me now, we're supposed to be fighting."

The more i think about it, i really don't think that Mayweather is going to fight Pacquiao.

Think about it: Pacquiao is on fire right now. He's fighting real hard right now. Pacquiao will probably fight 3 time next year at least.

Mayweather hasn't competed at the top level since Hatton, and that was last year.

Pacquiao might have that little killer edge right now, because he's been in the ring.

Mayweather would be smart NOT to take this fight. Even if the money's there. I don't think it's worth it. It would make a good fight. But i don't think it's worth it. Mayweather already has proven himself.
