    For all you Mayweather heads....

Without going into a long drawn out ramble, why did Mayweather retire when there are still plenty of fighters to fight?

I mean, wouldn't you want to build your legacy? Mayweather's only 31. He still has maybe a few tough fights left in him.

Why didn't he fight Cotto? Why didn't he fight Margarito? Why didn't he fight Clottey? Why didn't he fight Williams? Why didn't he fight Mosely?

Because he will lose to half of the people you said.

Mayweather has never fought a big good Welterweight in his prime. (Baldomir is ****)

    Zab Judah (Smaller than Floyd)
    Ricky Hatton (Smaller than Floyd)
    Oscar De La Hoya (Shot)

Based on Floyd Huggers. Foyd is the best of all time, and he have done everything he needs, to prove he is the best, Plus the top WW dont bring anything to the table!!!!!! They are just laughable. I havent seen so many excuses for one Boxer as for PBF!!!!!!!!

His hands are messed up, and his body overall seems to be breaking up some (Watch Hatton-Mayweather 24/7) from all the training over the years. He has all the money he needs, and I guess he feels he's done what he wants to do.

Mayweather proved he is the best 130 and 135

Cotto nor Margarito have proved they are the best at any weight

He wanted Shane and Shane said he had to go to the Dentist.

He didn't make any noise to fight the others.

For retirement: I'm not Floyd but given his background, maybe he was burning out Mentally and Physically he was falling apart. His hands were brittle and broken and when they are in that condition, you can't fight at your best. When you have to fight the likes of Cotto, Williams, and Margarito, you have to be at your best. Just look at Paulie in his last fight: because he was physically disabled, it hurt him Mentally.

I didn't like that he was going after Shane anyway; he was past his prime...although, Cotto took the fight and Shane proved he still had something left. Either way, he should have fought the big 3 since he opened his mouth.
