    Wrong.

And the exact same thing can be said about boxing.

Anyone can lace up gloves and get in a ring and box someone.

Being good at it is a totally different thing.

Maybe my point went over your head.

These tri-athletes are not just 'okay' at each one of the events they compete in.

They are world class athletes in each of the three sports. Which makes it that much more remarkable.

Ivica Olic(HSV and Croatian national team footballer) has unreal stamina, never seen another player like him.

but put simply, all you need is stamina
whiel a boxer you have to be concentrated, be pain tolerant, explosive, decisive, accurate, fast while requireing stamina for these quick 'powerful' thoughtful bursts of effort

it's not like they playing tennis, then changing to pool, then to soccer, then to rugby

it's running, cycling and swimming right? it's not as bad, just alot more stamina(since they cycle 24 miles and ****, honestly could'nt do it due to boredum IF i could do it, which i doubt i can)
it does'nt require a great deal of skill(if you have stamina, and knwo hwo to swim and cycle, your pretty much all set)

Awesome. Football (soccer) is awesome for your fitness. Especially if you play 5-a-side.

Boxers imo couldn't compete in an Ironman event.
I don't know man, my cousin finished top 20 in his age group at the Hawaii Ironman and I'm surprised the guy can tie his shoes and chew gum at the same time. And a guy like Phelps, the best swimmer in the world, looks like he has zero coordination outside of the pool. I think being the best athlete is more about the individual than the sport they compete in.

I actually think boxing has more to do with skill, than it does athletic prowess. Not saying that boxers don't have to be athletic...

But even boxers who aren't in the best of shape can still be competitive if they have the skill set to do so.

                      i also agree with that
the skill set, comes from the amazinmg fitness that boxers have
i mean running past men, can't be more competetive than running through them
but overrall i guess you could say it all depends on the athlete, and not the sport
