It would require a whole volume of books to tell about boxing corruption in the USA.

Maybe Valuev was paid to lose and was trying hard to lose. Even then those darned judges pulled off a robbery.

I've seen that theory, but I don't buy it. Holyfield was there for the taking, but Valuev wasn't even trying. He wasn't even throwing a jab, just sort of lazily sticking out his arm occasionally.

I really don't know. He didn't seem to be trying at all - and yet he seemed to anticipate winning at the end.

I have to respect you though after you tricked me into that Rahman bet.

I feel more guilty about tricking the guy out of his points in this one!

I don't know. It wouldn't be a first for boxing, though. Valuev is mixed up with the Russian mob. Who knows what they're up to.

I don't get this topic, even if there was truth to this topic. He still lost the fight... And Holyfield showed great lateral movement, so i think its wrong to spread rumors like topics like these.

Look at his previous fights on Youtube and compare it with what he was doing the other night. He wasn't even making a show of trying - and Holyfield looked about as non-threatening as heavy bag. And yet, at the end, Valuev seemed to be anticipating the win. Something very funny about that so-called fight. And now they want a freakin' rematch? Lord hab mercy!

Musta missed the Chagaev and Ruiz fights then?
