Marquez, he beat the lineal Champion in Casamayor, who beat the lineal Champion in Corrales, and so on. Marquez is the man at Lightweight. Pacquiao is a title holder at lightweight, but he's probably going to drop the belt to fight Hatton at 140lbs.

To me, it's Campbell but the best way to find out is for Campbell and Marquez to fight each other.

Officially, it's Marquez because he is the man in the division.

I got Pacquiao and Campbell. Casamayor was clearly robbed against Sta. Cruz. I didn't give JMM credit when someone already beat Casa's ass.

Campbell because I feel Juan Diaz was the real champion, and Nate beat him bad. Casamayor was just stealing fights and looking old in the ring. I think that Marquez needs to fight Campbell to be the best guy, and I give him a good chance at winning.

Casamayor should've lost the Santa Cruz fight, but that was it. He was on an 8 fight win streak or something going into the Marquez fight, with 5 KO's, including his starching of Katsidis in a FOTY candidate.

Bad decision against Santa Cruz or not, Casamayor was the lineal Champ. To be the man, you gotta beat the man. And Marquez beat the piss out of Casamayor, making him the man.

Has to be Nate Campbell. He's got 3 out of 4 belts and is willing to fight pretty much any reasonable contender to defend em'. What else you want?
