The point that I'm making is that Tony's opponents weigh 147 or lower just like him the day before the fight. Then they rehydrate to 165 plus the following day and they still weigh the same ammount on the day of the fight.

So where is the weight advantage? Unless you wanna use another fighter as an example because I'm drawing dead with that?

The fact is it's doing a better job keeping fighters even in weight even if they do gain 15 pounds the day after.

If you are suppose to be a 147 pound fighter you should not be rehydrating to 165 pounds..., Correct????

This tells me that Fighters are not just replenishing water but actually gaining weight.

Thats why Holding the weigh-in on the day of the fight, as Pennsylvania does, encourages fighters to make weight in the proper way.

The reason that weight classes exist at all is to ensure a fair fight. Fair and safe competition begins with the requirement that the two men facing each other are the same size.

    What ever happened to rules?

If too Fighters suppose to Natural 147 pounders and If a fight is contracted for 147-pounds and a fighter shows up 170 then the fighter has breeched the contract.

    Without rules, where's the legitimacy?

If an athlete is well-conditioned, the timing of the weigh-in shouldn’t matter,The primary objective of having 17 weight classes in this sport should be to determine the best fighters within specific intervals of weight.

    130 pounders fighting 130 pounders
    140 pounders fighting 140 pounders
    147 pounders fighting 147 pounders

Not 130 pounders fighting 150 pounders
Not 140 pounders fighting 160 pounders
Not 147 pounders fighting 170 pounders

if A Fighter weighs 165 lbs. on fight night, then how can we call him the 147 lb. champion ?

    Without rules, where's the legitimacy?

First off, come back with one world class name he beat at 154. Second, show me how that makes it ok to be 3 divisions higher come fight time. This should be good.

Incorrect!!! The rules do not put any cap or limit on how much a fighter can weigh after the weigh in so the fighters can weigh whatever the fucckk they want.

Oh and now you are gonna bring fighter class into the discussion even though we were talking about weight and nothing else.

If you suppose to be a natural WW then your walk around weight should be around 147 pounds since 147 pounds is your natural weight.

So If you are suppose to be a NATURAL 147 pound fighter you should not be rehydrating to 165 pounds.
                  Because that is NOT NATURAL...!!!

                  Dont you Think...????

A fighter Who weighs 147 pounds and Fighting another fighter who weighs 147 pounds or under 154 pounds is a fair fight...as long as the fighters

Typical low IQ rebuttal: "you're hating." Why so guilty? does what I said apply only to Margarito? I was making a very simple point. Making weight is ****ing DUMB! Either you are a natural 147lbs or not. Being dehydrated like a crackhead is ****ing foolish.

It means you really don't like fighting men named Santos or Williams too much.

                    Try again.

If you can weigh 130 at the 130 pound division on fight night then you deserve to be called a 130 pound fighter.... and so on with the other divisions...
