Yeah Dokes had very good hand speed for a HW, I was really hoping for him and Holmes to go at it.

Dokes had very fast hands, shame he couldn't put it all together, his problems outside of the ring definitely didn't help.

I picked Holyfield by KO myself. Holyfield was the man back in the day. Holyfield could have taken any Haye punch with ease.

Yeah, Dokes-Holyfield was a great fight, doesn't get mentioned much but that was an all out war.

I agree about the Weaver fight, Weaver was stunned but he wasn't that badly hurt and not many of Dokes' punches got through when Weaver was on the ropes, very premature stoppage.

Yeah, he was a very small heavyweight for the modern era, the success he had there was great. Dokes vs Haye would have been a great fight, all action in that one.

He's small for the era, Norton fought in the era where heavyweights were normally 6'3 and weighed about 220, Holyfield fought in the era where the big guys became really big, guys like Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis were 6'5 or 6'6 and routinely weighed in at 230+. Not to say Holyfield didn't fight his fair share of smallish heavyweights.
