What on Earth are you talking about?

My father is a Northern Irish Protestant, my mother is from Wales and my grand-mother is from Scotland.

I am English.

Each and every one of us are proud to be British.

We are all British mate so why all the hate? My brother fought alongside Welsh paratroopers in the Falkland's War and saw some of his great Welsh friends die in combat. We are all British.

I do not know one Welsh person who thinks like you. Are you another one of those black ******s that we often get on this forum attempting to cause trouble?

after being "shut the fcuk up" by some angry Brits, i can say the UK is aiite. I've never been across the pond before, but i dig the Bristish style. The way the talk, they way they dress, the hooligans and so forth.

Boxing? Well, America owes alot to the UK in regards to boxing. They renovated the sport making it what it is today. The rules, the equipment etc. After all, England is all about class style and gentleman conduct. Boxing is a civilized sport, such is soccer.

What i think is really cool is when Hatton fights, hella brits come over to support and they make it sound like a bloody Manchester United match.

Boxing? I still think more British fighters need to fight in the states though. For the publicity and *****.

When someone from Wales, Scotland and Ireland do well it's turn into Britain when someone from England does it he stays English.

Lets take England out of the "UK" and lets see what you and Scotland manage to conjure up. You should feel honored that people recognise your country as Britain.

Well said......boxing is just more popular in America than the UK thats why most fighters come here.....kuz the mighty $$$! But the UK has had some of the greatest fighters ever, Lenox, Hatton, Naseem, Calzaghe, Abraham, and so on!

Now, before I ask this question I want to say that I love the United States of America and I love Americans.

It is inscrutable to me as to why Brits and Americans squabble so pettily on this site.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask, do you think the United Kingdom has done well in terms of boxing over the years considering that our nation is far smaller than Texas?

Personally, I think we have had a decent amount of boxing World Champions, but we could have done better seeing how popular boxing is here.

Almost 90% of the United Kingdom's GDP comes from England, so that is nonsense, even though we do use some Scottish oil in the UK.

Anyway, why are fellow Brits from different parts of the UK being so hostile to each other?
