i've always said that about the u.k./ireland. lots of really good fighters for a country so small. same can be said about puerto rico (i know it's a commonwealth, but you get the point.)

when boxing is part of the popular culture of a country there are going to be more champions. right now boxing is big in places like the u.k. and puerto rico, and not so big in the u.s.
