I really think Prime Roy Jones has a chance to beat Tyson.

I always love how people have close decisions for quick small fighters against guys like 90 weight classes above them...

Listen, it would be 120-108 or 119-109 for Jones, or a KO for Tyson.

How is Tyson going to win rounds and not KO Jones? You have to land shots to win rounds. Jones's chin isn't very good. When Tyson landed punches, good, natural heavyweight fighters got KTFO.

I just don't get how Tyson wins 5 rounds and doesn't KO Roy...

Shutout for Roy or KO for Tyson.

Less than 1% chance of a shutout for Roy.

I give Roy a whole lot better shot at beating Ali to tell the truth.

Roy has less chance of beating Ali.

Good call, he didnt say it had to be a 12rd fight tho, Jones might be able to win a 4rder

I dont think so. Roy has the speed to keep competitive with Ali, and Ali doesnt have the one-punch power of Tyson. Im thinking 116-112 Ali, but thats a whole lot better than a 6rd KO from Tyson. Im not saying Tyson is better than Ali just that Jones matches up better with him stylistically.

Lol, when Tyson was the strongest? Jones's only chance is to run and jab for 4 rounds and block everything from Tyson in hopes that Tyson gets tired. If there is no threat of late rounds, why would Tyson not just go power level 9000 and rush his ass with everything?

For ****s sake. Winning a portion of the Heavyweight Championship against one of the worst Heavyweight champs of all-time does not mean you can compete with two of the greatest heavies ever.

Both Ali and Tyson beat the **** out of Jones and stop him.

Jones couldnt take the first clean punch Tyson landed. I also dont think he had enough Power to keep Mike off of him. Mike get a KO within 4.

John Ruiz is so wildly underrated... He's boring and has 0 power, but... how many good fighters has he taken wide decisions from?

He has a bunch of good wins, but... people continue to say he is one of the worst ever...

                  I don't get it.

Other than that, I agree with this post. Beating a heavyweight champ who is a slick dude with no power in your only fight at the weight gives 0 positive indicators that you can beat Tyson.

After Tyson tasted Roys power what would stop him from going balls to the wall regardless of how many rounds it was? Theres a big difference in featherfisted and being Mike Tyson theres a lot of gray area. Ali was UDing guys smaller than Roy and with much less skill and with Roys speed its kinda funny to think he wouldnt win a couple rounds

I think a prime Tyson is a bad match up for Roy, as Roy wound't have his speed factor over this heavyweight in Tyson which is his best point when taking on a heavyweight.

Tyson could match him for speed and then Roy would have to deal with Tyson strength and punching power. And at heavyweight Roys main factor is his speed. I don't think he would have the power to knockdown Tyson, he would just have to use his brain and skill. But overall I think a prime Tyson beats a prime Roy Jones at Hevayweight.
