I really think Prime Roy Jones has a chance to beat Tyson.

Man, are you actually a boxing fan or do you only come on here to talk about Calzaghe?

jones has the speed to pull it off

he would need to be ultra careful, but he would be in with a shot

I know what alot of guys are saying, and yes if Tyson catches him in 5 rounds is Game over. But, if roy lives through 5 rounds, i think he has a very good chance to box circles around tyson. Remember, Jones has pwoer and speed never seen before.
Now look I am not saying this is a good chance, but I think jones would be a live underdog in his prime.

I believe a prime Tyson would be a bad match-up for Jones even pound for pound, with a 30 lb weight advantage for Tyson I wouldn't give much of a chance to Jones.

Imagine Tyson being in there against Jones instead of Ruiz

Look at spinks's foot speed; it very slow compared to roys. Also, Tyson did not jab(barely) Ruiz did.

Call me crazy, but i see a 115-113 Jones victory.

if they were the same size roy would kill tyson with his speed. I think Prime Roy would beat just about any heavy weight. I also think Prime Tyson would beat any heavy weight. I say the same about prime Ali. I mean its hard to say that Roy could beat Iron Mike, but styles make fights, and If "prime Roy" didn't want Tyson to hit him, Tyson would not be able to. And Roy would be able to touch him all day. Maybe not hurt him, but hed land punches. Tyson is 5-9 and roy is 5-11. Roy also has reach on mike. I know it doesn't seem possible but remeber how fast roy was. when he was young he didn't get tired and he could run from Mike all day. Regardless Roy Jones, Barry Sanders, and now Lebron James are the three most amazing athletes I have ever seen. 1.Barry 2.Roy 3.Lebron No boxer has more god gifted ability than Roy Jones.

Prime Roy Jones was the most amzing fighter Ive ever seen. Prime Mike Tyson KOs RJJ. Roy would last a lot longer than Spinks but still gets caught eventually. There is no way he keeps a prime hungry Tyson off of him all night its not possible he doesnt hit hard enough to earn Tysons respect and Tyson backs him into the ropes and eventually lands a punch. I give Roy a whole lot better shot at beating Ali to tell the truth.
