It was a sham that it was a SD. Floyd won 8 of the 12 rounds.

I do not think Floyd would stick and move. That is a terrible game plan, to do that exclusively anyways (to change up sure though). Say what you will about Floyd but he is not an idiot in the ring and makes opponents do what he wants them to. I think Floyd would fight inside a lot tying up Pacman never letting Pacman really get away so he can spring forward.

I really think he would try and make Pacman fight going backwards, sometimes the best spot to be is right against your opponent inside their power. Floyd has never been affraid of this style.

Yes Floyd won the fight, but no he did not embarass him. Embarassment is what Floyd did to Gatti, or Pac did to Oscar. Floyd merely outpointed Oscar. He did not beat him up.

In a way it's a negotiating ploy to get Ricky on the cheap.
margorito called out mayweather, but all mayweather did was accept less money to fight baldomir instead.

BTW; Floyd fought Oscar at 154 when Oscar was healthy and hydrated. But yes, still past his prime; but not weight-drained and lifeless.

For Roach: Since he wants the fight and nothing has come from Floyd, guess who is in the position to call the fight? FLOYD.

143 catch-weight my ass. **** you Freddie. Fight Floyd at 147 where he is fresh and not dead. Manny fought at 147 for Oscar; fight Floyd at 147.

                Ball is in Floyd's hands.

Floyd has all the disadvantage: He's in his 30's, is inactive and isn't the same fighter from what I have seen in the past few years.

Flaws? Yeah, more now than ever...which is why Freddie wants him NOW.

I love Manny, but I would be rooting for Floyd on this one because Freddie is a *****. Great Trainer though. But, he has Parkinsons for a reason.

Baldomir also had the LINEAL title after he beat JUDAH, who Floyd was set to face before Zab lost.

True, I always agree: FLoyd should have faced Margarito at some point. Margarito should have gotten rid of Arum as well to see if Floyd was serious he wouldn't fight an Arum fighter. Just a thought.

This will be interesting with the Manny thing.

                    Pacman v Mayweather/Hatton

Mayweather definitely would be more of a career defining fight for the Pacman. Since Hatton was already KO'ed by Floyd; that seems to be the best option. Mayweather would offset Manny's aggressiveness with superb counter punching. Mayweather's quickness and defensive prowess would be the difference in this fight. Floyd does well against fighters that are smaller than him; Hatton is smaller than him which is why he was able to KO him. Manny has proven to have a chin, so I don't forsee a stoppage.
If he does opt for Hatton, he should win that fight. Hatton is becoming a better boxer but I think Manny would pick him apart. He just doesn't have the ability of say a Marquez, a agressive boxer-puncher; Hatton just doesn't have that adaptability. He reminds me of Felix Trinadad, one-dimensional, but Trinadad had the fight ending power, Ricky doesn't. Either way Manny makes a boat-load of money.
