Floyd's like a lot of child prodigies; they burn out quicker as well because they were forced to love the sport instead of falling in love with it.

I think Manny should take the fight. If Floyd is beatable; it's next year.

Freddie only wants Floyd now because he is not the same fighter. I don't blame him, except, I think it is low-class to call out a fighter that is retired. If Floyd was still fighting, that's the way of the game; but he is retired.
excuses. Pacquiao wants Floyd because he is big enough now, not because floyd is past it. Floyd is only what? 31? and he didn't even look that great fighting De la Hoya. Floyd will lose because Pacquiao is simply better, not because of a lay off. If Castillo can give Floyd huge problems, Pacquiao will win, possibly by KO. Pressure+power+speed+timing.

Watch the Diego Corrales fight for example and see if you have the same thoughts. Head, body, feet...all were his defensive weapons.

For Now: maybe. He is more inclined to stand there and just do the roll.
Im talking now of course. The corrales fight was ages ago. That'd be like making the mistake of calling Pacquiao a 1 dimensional fighter now because of the 1st Marquez fight.

It matters not however because even on Floyd's best day....he can make Pacquiao miss every punch he throws every second of every round. Pacquiao will keep attacking. Mayweather puts safety 1st. If he's busy defending then he's not hitting Pacquiao. There's not much Pacquiao throws now that can be countered because now it's very difficult to anticipate what's coming next from him. Pacquiao also no longer telegraphs his straight left.

I disagree with you on this point -- if the fight fans want it, it's not a low-class thing to do. And the fans definitely want it.

What's low-class is someone like Vitali calling out Lennox.

He's better than Floyd, and all floyds fanboys need to know this. If Floyd thinks he can just stand there and Make Pacquiao miss, he's gonna get KTFO.

Indeed. And what people don't seem to consider is Corrales' mental state at that point in time. It wasn't good.

i agree. if pac can do what castillo did then he has a huge chance because pac is faster, bigger & stronger than castillo.

This is a fight that needs to happen! I have Manny beating Mayweather at any weight. But, my opinion don't really matter until we all find out in the ring.

All you "Dancing with the Star Floyd Mayweather" fans can say whatever you like. It is good to debate this fight so that hopefully the buzz will make it happen. However, you won't be able to call any number to save your favorite dancer when he steps into the ring with Manny Pacquiao. But, my opinion don't really matter until we all find out in the ring.

Mayweather has excellent timing, but Pacquiao's is better. Mayweather will be frustrated by the constant feinting.

It's going to be easier to hit Mayweather than you think, Mayweather is 5'7-5'8 he's only a tiny bit bigger than Pacquiao. I can't see Mayweather landing and not getting it back 2 times as much in return from Pacquiao.

still a good brawl, Mauyweather is undefeated - beat some good names..

No way Floyd is coming down to 143... If this fight can be made at 147, it will be the Fight of the Year guaranteed. Floyd wins though.
