Umm...since his last fight? You know, against that guy Manny's fighting next?

Even if Pacquiao were to dismantle Hatton it still doesn't mean he beats Floyd. However, I think the ring rust and age Floyd will carry into the ring will help. I'm withholding judgement on such a fight until I see how Manny fares against Ricky. Hopefully Floyd takes a tuneup.

I'd love for this fight to happen. Wouldn't it be crazy if we got a decisive winner who challenges Margarito? Who says boxing's dead?

i think floyd will win, but i don't think it will be as easy as most think. manny may surprise alot of you, hell he may even win(not what i'm thinking), but this is boxing after all.

            Gotta love Pac's confidence.
There really is very little downside for Pac. If he loses, he lost to a consensus great fighter still near his prime (albeit an inactive fighter).

            But if he WINS....

But Mayweather adjusts to Pac by round 3, and the fight is a mismatch by round 8. Wide decision victory or stoppage in the championship rounds.

May is too much for Pac.

Ring rust will be Mayweather's main flaw. He is believed to be very strict on his health even without a fight, but how he has taken care of himself during the inactivity is in question plus the fact that the hunger for victory and accomplishes could have diminished somewhat. We all know he's just returning for the money. Pacquiao is a loose express train without brakes right now and would be more relentless if he ever faced Floyd. Floyd would need to lubricate well to dance his way out of 8-punch combos thrown in bundles.

Carlisle, are you aware that those triangle theories are ridiculous? Especially when the fights are at different weights with big spans of time between them.

Did everyone think Oscar was shot for May? Did Oscar look shot for Pac?

I tend to agree with you although from what I hear, Floyd stays in the gym regardless. I suspect a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout may require a sequel.

Oscar didn't look shot vs. Mayweather because Mayweather had a hard time with Oscar. Oscar look shot with Pacman because he was pounded ****less. The fought dela Hoya a year apart genius.
