I gotta disagree my friend. I think Hatton-Pac will be made. During that time Floyd could get a tune up in if he is seriously contemplating coming back. Just my opinion of course.

If Floyd retired after cleaning 147, and was say..35-36 years old..that would make sense. He retired in his prime because he is afraid of losing.
I've stated a while back that a fighter can retire at any time. If he feels he is not at his best mentally and physically; he should retire. Floyd had all the signs of someone that fell out of love with the sport and had some major physical problems with his hands and I've even heard his back.

We criticize a fighter for leaving to soon, but do the same when the leave too late. I think it is better to get out as soon as you think you aren't at your best.

Pac never cleared out the lower divisions either as well as other fighters in history doing the same.

Floyd's stint at 147+ was for two fighters: Shane and Oscar. Shane said no because of a toothache and Oscar said yes at 154.

      Why fight past your prime?

If you look at the NFL, when do a lot of players retire; specifically Running-Backs.

And I've also said Floyd's legacy doesn't hold up at 147+ so how can I be anywhere near a nuthugger?
I've also be harsh on some of the **** talk Floyd used against past Legends of the sport.

I also said I prefer to watch Manny Pac fight rather than watch Floyd when he moved up to 147.

If Floyd is afraid, how about being afraid of not being at your best and losing?

It's like a Great Writer or Painter who loses his touch and refuses to do anymore work.

How can you be in your prime still if you don't love the sport anymore and your are physically breaking down?

Have we forgot how long Floyd has been fighting with bad hands?
Do you think this has anything to do with his decline in punch-out-put?

A better example of a ***** move = Vitali calling out Lennox. Trying to coax him out with 500 billion dollars. WACK! Vitali can't even buy a win against Lewis.
It's one thing when Freddie mentioned Floyd's name as a possibitly "if" he decided to come back. It's another to basically call him a ***** and say Manny will knock you the **** out {added some tone for drama} and then tack on more b.s. with the "catch-weight" despite just having fought Oscar at 147...but of course, I understood the reason: Oscar was going to be dead at 147, and Floyd, not so much...so let's kill him too so fans get ripped out of their money again.

I was fine with Freddie's first mention of Floyd...but the insult **** was bull****.

It all started with the last fight with Morales with me. It's a shame Manny is in the middle of this all.

If Manny in 1 or 2 years retires saying "That's it, I'm done." And then some fighter comes along and his trainer calls Manny a ***** and says Manny has to come back...you wouldn't say that is some b.s.?

        • PBF getting out of boxing because he wasnt quite at his best is no excuse. Its how boxers perform when they are not at there peak is when they show their mettle.
BH, JC all fighting past there best years but can still achieve things. Could PBF? Anyone can have unbeaten records when they are youngish but how do you cope when you have things going against you?

But i think Hatton has a good chance agaisnt Pac because he isnt mexican looking. Although they call him the white mexican.

          • Pac vs Floyd at 143 will be a good match up but I think Floyd will be called the biggest coward of choosing a smaller man again instead of Margarito or Cotto.

Considering Floyd said he wasn't in love with boxing prior to the Hatton fight and had hand problems for a long time and then back problems....point?

Floyd also went through with the fight with Castillo in their first meeting despite going into the fight with a torn rotator...point?

So if Manny retires after two more fights like Freddie wants...make sure to call him a *****.

              I won't; but you can.

Marciano was a little ***** as well, right?

True, but wouldn't this work against Margarito too since Margarito shows up at 160+ for his fights, while Floyd shows up at 149 and started as a lightweight?

Pac shows up at 149 as well...so that is closer.

                They can sell the fight.

So what if he's 160+?. It's your decision to what weight you're going to go up Floyd nuthugger..
