Ricky Hatton is not exactly pleased with the rumors of Floyd Mayweather Jr. considering a comeback to fight Manny Pacquiao. After Pacquiao stopped Oscar De La Hoya last weekend in Las Vegas, it was lock for Hatton to fight Pacquiao in May or June of next year. Freddie Roach in an interview said he would prefer Floyd because it was basically more meaningful.

But, I also think Freddie is a little ***** for trying to lure out a retired fighter while slapping Floyd in the face with such a statement as: Manny will knock you out.

It's one thing to say if Floyd comes back, we want to fight him...it's another to try to lure a retired fighter out with insults.

This **** could happen to Manny as well if he were to retire 1-2 years from now.

Personally, I don't want it to hit Manny because I like him, but I wouldn't mind it coming back to hit Freddie in the face.

£20million mega-fight with Pacquiao looks set for Las Vegas

RICKY HATTON’S dreams of facing the world’s No.1 pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao at Wembley Stadium next year appear to have been shattered.

The fight now looks certain to be staged next May in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum is reluctant to let the Filipino superstar fight in Hatton’s back yard unless the Pacman gets the bulk of the cash.

That means Hatton will settle for another Stateside fight, where he could earn a colossal £20million.
