froch on five live radio with steve bunce right now. played the recording of what calzaghe said dissing froch and pascal, vacant title and all that, when he beat a legend in eubank to win his. froch praised pascal for his toughness, but responded by just saying calzaghe was being silly and thick.

bunce the legend, and calzaghe biggest fan was dissapointed in calzaghe for being disrespectful. the other presenter saying not what you expect from the sports personality of the year.

For his entire career, Calzaghe fought in the UK, why? Because if you are filling arenas of 50,000 screaming fans and you can do it in your back yard, why not? Calzaghe fought Manfredo to get into the public eye of America, where at that point in his career he was ready to start solidifying his legacy. Good move. I'm not a huge Calzaghe fan, but how can you not respect what the man has done and his unbelieveable ability.
Kessler isn't turning anyone away I don't think. I think he is fighting mandatories and his promoters aren't doing a good job of getting the fights we all want to see.

If Joe Calz-slappy wants to be motivated for a fight, well he should fight Dawson, fight Pavlik, how about PWills at 168. I'm sick and tired of Joe's lame excuses. How about the usual hand picked opponents, how about Tarver and Johnson? O common Joe !!!

I respect Carl Froch for trying to beat his storied countryman before he retires. But in reality, if Calzaghe fights anyone, it has to be Chad Dawson.

No way Calzaghe will be accepted if he faces Froch and does not intend on fighting Dawson. I think somewhere deep down, Joe is like Floyd Mayweather. He knows that his legacy is not sealed until he takes some risks with his -0- before leaving the sport for good.

If he comes back to face Froch and then Dawson @ 175, okay. But to just return and beat Froch is unacceptable. I think I speak for the average boxing fan that knows the worldwide boxing picture.

It's as simple as this.

No matter what Calzaghe does some of you will always find something to complain about. He fights Hopkins and wins but it's not enough because it's a split decision - None of the people I'm talking about care to mention how Hopkins hugged him all night and faked being hit with a low punch. If Hopkins had won it would've been 'Joe was overrated', but because he lost it was 'Hopkins was shot' - Despite how Hopkins had no problem exposing the undefeated Pavlik who was far younger than Calzaghe.

Now it's onto how Calzaghe won't fight Dawson - Which is even more ridiculous as some of you who moan about him not fighting Dawson are the same who moan about how he only fights people older and past their prime...Wouldn't that be what Dawson would be doing if they did fight?

The people with this bias, constant moaning mentality are the worst boxing fans on the planet.
