MAYweather vs PACquaio: BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY !!!

First, Floyd never lost his title in the ring and he could pull an Ali with the promotion. It's not like he has been out 3 years. Hell, Dempsey went something like 3 years without defending his title. What's worse?

Floyd hasn't fought at JrWW since Gatti in '05. And, I thought Roger once said that Floyd at this point couldn't go back down to 140 which is why they made Hatton come to them at 147. Floyd doesn't like to drain weight for fights. At 147, all he has to do is take a piss and he will make weight.

So why make a fighter diet down and drain himself for a weight he hasn't made since '05, especially an inactive fighter in his 30's?
People will be calling it the same strategy as the Oscar fight.

If Pac really wants this fight, weight shouldn't be an issue. He knows where Floyd fights and that is at 147. Fight at 147. Not hard. Don't STEAL a victory.

In the end, you really don't need titles because the names are bigger than the titles at this point. But, the weight issue still stands: Both fought at 147, let them fight there. This way, you have TWO HEALTHY FIGHTERS.

What makes you think Floyd wouldnt be healthy at 140, Hes not even a true welterweight(sizewise i mean) niether is Pac.that never lose at 147 so hes still lineal welterweight champion he better gets it first then he aint lineal to a lot of people(not me) after he retired.He will probably have a tune-up fight before fighting pac so 140 is more than fair too me.

What im saying is you cant argue Floyd is not really a welterweight at the same time say they should fight at 147 cause 140 is too low.

Arum works for Pacquaio... and plus Pacquaio team and lawyer already played thier hand and express that they want mayweather... remember it was pacquaio manager and team who did the Negotiations for the hatton fight and arum was just the middle man. Because if you remember ARUM was trying to get pacquaio to sign a 50/50 split from day 1 but Pacquaio team wasnt going for none of that...
You have to remember all the begging arum was doing to pacquaio to sign the contract before he loses the fight...

because believe me I dont think Pacquaio would take a high risk medium reward fight in mosley or cotto..

Since when did I say Oscar was more muscular?? He is naturaly bigger.. Floyd could probably make 135 or so if he wanted to... Oscar walks around 150 to 160 ish. And no I am not basing this fight on the first Castillo fight I'm simply stating that although he may not be as fast he will land his shots.. Because he is already in his 30's, hasn't fought at 140 since '05, Roger I think already said that Floyd can't go back down to 140 anymore (or at least doesn't want to diet down to make the weight), along with inactivity. It's much easier to just take a piss to lose 1-2 pounds for a weigh-in instead of trying to lose
9(like most do), so why bother?
Fighting at WW allows the fighter to concentrate only on the fight instead of trying to fight the scales as well.
History doesn't favor the move back down. Go ask Freddie.

Why not just make the fight at 147 where both have already fought and won, and you have two healthy fighters (as long as Floyd can still make that weight as well).
Pac has no excuse not to fight at 147 since he "destroyed" Oscar there (like many of his die-hard fans have said).

I said Floyd is a legit WW while the rest of the fighters who cannot make 147 by fight time are not true WW.
If the fighters had to be at 147 by fight-time, how many at WW could make it?
I think Floyd could as long as the numbers are correct that he comes in by fight-time around 149 when he fights at WW.
Unless he is packing on 9 pounds and that is a different story but I never heard that.



Oh, and in one of the interviews, Freddie Roach said weight really doesn't matter to determine who wins, yet at the same time, he would want Floyd to drop down in weight.....for what reason? Go back to the interview.
