Seriously what are all these option Manny has? After Hatton, there is no one that is a sure thing $10 million purse for him. JMM is an ok fight but that fight like 50% to 33% as much as he would get with Floyd, which is still nice money but who else? There are not that many options at the top end of the sport around that weight (even in all weights).

he has hatton, JMM then he can work on that 'legacy' thing by fighting top dogs at 140 or whoever from 135 wants to step up...he can fight nate, guzman, diaz....he has more options

Having losses and being knocked out doesn't help. Having fighters on your resume that floyd could have whiped the floor with doesn't help. Losing to a Past prime Morales doesn't help. Fighting Marco after he had wars with Morales doesn't help.

Nate, Guzman and Diaz together would not bring as much money, fame and glory as beating Mayweather. Also 3 fights is 1 years worth of work as opposed to just 4 months. Simple Economics

That may be leverage just to get a better percentage on the fight say maybe 65/35 or 60/40, surely nobody is buying Floyd wouldnt fight Manny now considering what we have been hearing the past day or so, I guess he was referring to the losses early in his career.

He got knocked out when he was 16 and 17 years old, what a ***ing tool..that hardly account for anything.

His only loss is to Morales by UD, a competative fight, a fight in which he was green..a fight in which he came back and dominated Morales twice.

not arguing any of those points...however, the fact is; if floyd doesnt come out, he still has options and continue in doing his thing...what does floyd have? you think he's coming back to fight margarito/cotto/clottey or williams? that's highly unlikely bro...his big payday is manny and IMO, he's in no position to make demands
