    manny: morales 3 , barrera 2 , marquez 2 , larios 1 , oscar 1 = that's also 9 fights versus hofers or possible hofers

one could point out morales and barrera have better legacies than any of floyd's opponents.

    floyd: titles at 130 , 135 , 140 , 147 and 154

    pacquiao: titles at 112 , 122 , 126 , 130 and 135

explain to me why it's so funny i think manny's resume is better than floyd's?
    Floyd stans don't have reasoning.

Floyd woulda, coulda, and shoulda'd his way into their hearts and they are forever in defense of anything not said positive about him.

          ellerbe is a moron.

Pacman doesnt NEED floyd...floyd needs pacman...this is simply a ploy to make more money for when the fight does happen or a way for floyd to fight someone besides pacman (ie. whoever pacman could potentially lose to in this "next big fight".)

everyone has been talking about hatton fighting the winner of pacman/de la hoya (manny obviously) so it could be in floyd's strategy to think if hatton gets lucky against pacman that he can really pull in the money by having that rematch against hatton overseas in england.

one of the two are the likely scenarios...the latter is most likely.

If pacman does take another big fight who do you guys think it would/should be?

many would like to see cotto v. pacman but i dont see this happening due to the fact cotto lost to margarito and if pacman has any brains he wont fight margarito due to the simple fact margarito would bury him under that ring by night's end.

All you pacman fans shouldnt get offended by that statement...its no knock on pacman as a fighter but its a praise to the chin of margarito (which i seriously SERIOUSLY doubt pacman could even come close to cracking) and margarito's relentlessness...

If that fight took place i think he'd really get hurt by margarito. he's too big, too strong, too relentless. margarito is no 35 year old de la hoya past his prime type.

          so whos left?

          hatton?
mosley (also dont see this happening...its not a fight that favors mosley at this stage of his career...hes too old...the speed difference would make it very hard for mosley)
williams? (yeah right...he's WAY too big for pacman...)

looks like hatton is the only logical choice (in my opinion) at least...

not to say other opponents wouldnt make good fights...but its either strongly in pacmans favor or strongly in theirs...

Some people will think I'm crazy or even say I don't know what I'm saying but I firmly believe that Mayweather will taste his first defeat against the Pacman. And I say this because the Pacman is fierce, concentrated and unrelentless in his approach against opponents. I see Mayweather in the same predicament as De La Hoya. The Pacman will beat him to the punch. Attack, attack, attack. Pacman is just too awesome for everyone. JAT

LOL your dillusional if you think a retired fighter controls all the shots! Especially when your talking about Manny Pacquiao a boxer who doesnt need Mayweather. Mayweather like i said in the cut thread for this fight needs Pacquiao a lot more than Pac needs floyd. Cause we sure as hell know that he aint going man up and fight the bigger welterweights like Margarito, Paul Williams, or even Miguel Cotto for that matter. If Floyd truly wants another payday in boxing its gonna be against Pacquiao and he's gonna have to follow what Pac asks for or he wont get it!

this doesnt make sense. they said pac needs one more major win to be worthy to fight floyd. hatton didnt have any major wins under his belt before fighting him. neither did oscar. so why does pacquiao need to do more to prove himself . i guess since oscar is a big name and hatton was undefeated at the time made them worthy. such bull****
