Marquez doesn't have enough head movement to get past Oscars jab and Marquez lost to a double weight drained Pacquiao.

And got a draw from a pre-prime Pacquiao (While JMM was in his prime)
.........How was Pacquiao drained, he never fought at a higher weight before that fight, so how was he double drained? You sound ******

.....and when Marquez fought Barrera he was not in his prime (tho having more left compared to Barrera), people were already talking about Marquez being a step or two behind his best before the Terdsak Jandaeng fight(hence Marquez being in more exciting fights).

..and how did Pacquiao beat a prime Morales??? Morales was already going downhill and still managed to get a win over Pac, and was competitive in the second fight, so what does that say about Pacquiao?

Don't you notice the pattern in Pacquiao's biggest fights???? he's getting wins off of guy's that were already on the tail end of their careers, and Pac's fast and aggressive style is perfect for that, but with saying that Pac is a great fighter but don't act like Pac did not lose to Morales and did not go through hell with Marquez.

Marquez is the more fundamentally sound fighter but Pacquiao is the more gifted fighter physically, they offset each other really because Pacquiao has become a really good technical fighter and Marquez is a pretty good athlete himself.

How some one can say Paquiao has more skills than Marquez is beyond me...now if you want to talk about power or speed?..then Pac>Marquez...but overall skills Marquez>Pac??? Like Jim Lampley said during Pac vs Diaz: "If you want to know just how good Mexicos Juan Manuel Marquez is, Marquez has won more rounds in both their fights and if it wasnt for the 4 knock downs, JMM would have won both." JMM couldnt handle direct power from pac in both fights.

I agree also, most of these Pachuggers act like the 4 knockdowns was the result of Pacquiao's superior boxing skills when in fact it's not. Pac is just the much stronger fighter while Marquez is the better skilled guy.

i agree. skills dont always pay all the bills. this sport requires speed/power/chin/stamina/skills/defense. the more attributes one person is good at, the higher chance of success.

pac has the speed/power/chin over marquez.

marquez has the skills over pac, and probably equal stamina/heart to pac.

pac's overall arsenal is probably an A rating, with Marquez being a close A-, in my opinion.

either way, both are excellent fighters.

The same happened with R. Marquez/Vazquez, Cotto/Margarito , and tons of other fights in the history of the sport, you gotta love it.

Marquez beat Pac. Or at least should have beaten Pac, he was cheated in both fights.
So that makes Marquez better than Pac.
