Anyone who watched the fight and didn't think DLH was shot knows nothing about boxing. DLH was as shot as I've ever seen an elite fighter be. Whether it was age, weight loss or a combo we may never know. DLH would've lost to any decent fighter that night though.

I give Pac credit for taking the fight. He couldn't know for sure that Oscar would be so far declined.

Sure, I know nothing about boxing.

You could say "anyone who has Calzaghe as P4P #1 knows nothing about boxing", too.

Has it occured to you that maybe, just maybe, it was Pacquiao's phenomenal performance, and not Oscar's shortcomings that contributed most to him getting thoroughly dominated ?

Also, how do you go from being a favored fighter, by even boxing handicappers, to being a shot fighter. Would they have given a 'shot' fighter 2-1 odds, even with all of the money pouring in for Pacquiao ?

              I think not.

He was just absolutely dominated by a better fighter on that night.

I agree anybody who grew up seeing Oscar fighting knew he was missing somthing only the Pac nuthugger think Pac beat a prime Oscar. Oscar was shot gone dead

Oscar is only shot when a great fighter like Manny Pacquiao shows Oscar for what he truly is... Not a great fighter, only a good fighter. Huge difference, Pacquiao will be an atg, and Oscar will only be hall a famer... HAHAHA

How does Oscar expect to be an ATG, when he lost like all his big fights.

I don't know why every time pacman beats a great fighter, majority of people will call that fighter shot. I think they just couldn't get the idea of a fighter being overwhelmingly dominated or they simply cannot appreciate fully Pacs ability. Why didn't they call Oscar shot when he fought Mayweather last year and Forbes a few months back? If Oscar fought Marquez or Diaz or Hatton instead of Pac that time I don't think the outcome would be the same and for sure nobody will call him shot. Simply put The Pacman is just phenomenal.

Has it accured to you that maybe it was a little bit of both?
How do you suppose a fight with a 2001 De La Hoya plays out with Pacquiao?

And you forget that truth isn't measured in mass appeal.
