Even though I think you're a moron, I'm going to respond to this idiotic statement.

No one said that Manny beat a prime Oscar De La Hoya. And anyone who thinks that we've even seen a prime Oscar De la Hoya in the last couple of years is no better than you.

If he was so shot gone dead, then why didn't we hear any detractors of the fight coming from Oscar's side ? No one complained about him being shot before seeing the fight result.

Manny thoroughly dominated a far past prime Oscar De La Hoya, and did it with his most viable asset and the attribute that has most clearly depleted in Oscar over the years: his speed.

How do you suppose a fight with a 2001 De La Hoya plays out with Pacquiao?

And you forget that truth isn't measured in mass appeal.
Well, that is a **** question. Prime vs Prime, Manny would beat Oscar always. Manny is a bad style for Oscar. Fast southpaw with great footwork. Pacquiao was still a baby back in 2001!!! Awful biased question, prime vs prime. Manny wins still!

That's what I was asking, dummy. Prime for Prime.
        I highly doubt that, HIGHLY.

I would not say Oscar is shot, his reflexes have declined dramatically though and that is one of the reasons he is getting hit more.

Shane Mosley was getting tagged more than ever against Miguel Cotto because his reflexes are not what they were.

No, that is not what you said genius. You said if Oscar had fought Pacquiao back in 2001, which means Pacquiao 2001... When he was a baby at boxing still and not as talented as he was today. Of course Oscar would beat 2001 version of Manny!!!

And what I'm saying is that prime vs prime, Manny would win since Manny seems like he loves fighters like Oscar/David Diaz style where they come forward and try to land there punches while Manny moves left and right dodging there punches and countering.

Oscar is not shot, he is still a very good fighter. The difference is that Pacquiao is the VERY BEST IN THE WORLD.

When you're a part time fighter this is going to happen. Oscar never really stays in shape between fights. He was huge after the hopkins fight.

Oscar has lacked Match fitness for years, fighting once a year doesn't keep you sharp. He couldn't even be bothered making 147 for Forbes, so they had to change the weight to 150. Serves him right for not taking that fight as a test of his performance back at 147.
