Call it what you want but he isn't the same fighter that he once was. I'd say that for once on this site the term shot is applicable in ODLH's case.
exactly. all the respect in the world to paquiao he is for sure the p4p best but there is no way you could watch that fight and see that oscar is pretty much shot

I have never been a fan of Oscar, though. Maybe I could have seen more, but I didn't care to do so because he doesn't particularly interest me.

Pac's style annihilates Oscar's all day. That's all there is to it. That's why I mentioned weight. Styles make fights, and Manny's is all wrong for Oscar.
I have seen every one of oscars fights. Im dead serious. i am one of his biggest fans, period. If in 32 years you have never seen a fighter age overnight to a younger, hungrier fighter, i beg to question who the hell you have been watching for 32 years that interested you, when De La Hoya was fighting the likes of Trinidad, Vargas, Paez, Whitaker, Chavez, Camacho, Gatti, Hopkins, Mayweather, Ruelas and so on.

Honestly, i dont believe you. For you to say Pac would just walk all over DLH at any point in his career when he was facing the best PRIME OPPONENTS AT ALL TIMES. Seriously, the only guys DLH didint fight in his era were Winky and Vernon. Thats it. THAT IS IT.

Pac destroyed DLH, he made him look bad and retired him, he humiliated him in front of his fanbase and he deserves to be boxings number one and solidified himself as an alltime great.

if one of the most polarizing fighters the sport has ever seen doesnt interest you, if Ike Quartey vs De La Hoya just rolled off your shoulders in 32 years of watching the sport. Id love to know who you actually like.
