Its definately a combination of Oscar being shot and Manny being far more effective at 147 than anyone thought he could be.

As for whether or not Pac could beat Floyd, I have no idea.

Silencers I do see where your coming from, but I dont think it was necessarily Oscar lack of finding the opening as much as it was Pacman closing the opening..

I think it was the style of fighting and CONSTANT movement of the head and body, in and out, relentless speed style fighting that completely killed Oscar...

I think against a plodding come forward fighter... trinidad... jcc.. someone whose going to stand there and box normally Oscar would still do fine...

I think Pacman was the main reason oscar appeared shot, I thought Oscar looked good against forbes personally, that was about 8 months ago.. he was throwing combos 8 months ago... the difference here was pacman...

Oscar did not look shot the first couple of rounds. He was there trying to catch Manny but Manny was just all over the ****ing place.

Oscar did look shot after eating quite a few straight lefts thrown down the pipe. He started getting very weary in round three and was actually weary of throwing punches as Manny countered everything he threw. Manny actually buzzed him a few times early and that was all she wrote. Oscar was then a man without any answers.

Manny's speed was simply just too much for him. He never allowed Oscar to find any rhythm at all.

Pacquiao looked good, but Oscar was completely shot. Shot to pieces. I think Pacquiao looked like he did not believe what he was seeing at times. When he had him against the ropes, it almost looked like he took steps back worrying about counters that never came.

But I think this fight was one fight closer to the end of the elite matches, if not THE end... I think oscar was already slowly declining as a fighter, but it was Manny that made him appear much more declined than I believe he would be.. against a more normal orthodox boxer..

That shot dela Hoya would give Cotto or even Margarito some problems.

The Reason PAC was able to do what he did was because of the incredible speed advantage. There's nothing DLH could do. Look at how fast PAC steps back after landing a left...GOD DAMMIT he looks terribly shot because of PAC's style and speed.

You think Marg can get out of the Left hook after landing? or Cotto?

Damn Pacquiao is shutting everybody down

Pac looked spectacular but I was more impressed by him in the Diaz fight. That's how shot Oscar looked...

I am really not sure how pacman would fare at 140, probably very good, might beat hatton too! but this fight is not telling me much

All I can say is that was the best Manny I have ever seen. He did everything so well.

What is most incredible is that he did the impossible. He carried his speed, reflexes and power up multiple weight classes with him, while improving his overall boxing skills and ring generalship.

That people is a true rarity. He is a very special fighter.

i feel pacquiao would have beaten any oscar that night, pac looked fantastic, but again thats just my speculation, debating is useless.

pacquiao didnt really look small in the ring, oscar didnt use his advantages but, pacquiao looked good at 147. with that said, williams would maul him. cotto and pac at 140 would be more fair for those suggesting that.

this is definitely the best pac ive seen. his defense was absolutely flawless. although oscar couldnt do anything against him anyways even if he used no defense, you could tell pacquiao has really stepped up his game as a smarter fighter.

                      conclusion
-oscar isnt completely shot, but well over the hill
-pacquiao made him look worse than he really is
                      -pac is pretty much incredible
