    How Come Oscar Didn't Clinch????

was anybody wondering this also?? how come he didnt clinch, and use his bigger body to push pac man backwards??? try to tire him out a lil bit, or at least to get in closer throw some blows to the body, if he wasnt gonna use his reach advantage to throw a good jab. what was up with that

Because Pacquiao didn't give him any opportunity to do that.

I think clinching him would have been possibly difficult/awkward considering the size difference and also.. Pac had plenty of energy for pushing off and moving laterally. At begining of fight they clinched and Pac pushed him off.. almost getting caught with an uppercut in the process.

Bigger body? Oscar was taller but his body wasn't bigger than Manny's body. Did you not notice the disparity in the legs, specifically the calves of the two fighters? Manny's legs were much stronger than Oscar's, Oscar's legs looked like the legs of a new born colt. Manny's upper body was also a lot more heavily muscled and compact than Oscar's. If you don't want to be clinched you don't have to and Manny did a good job at this. Manny maintained a perfect distance (close enough to get his punches off but far enough to avoid getting tied up) the whole fight, he kept his feet and head moving and used angles to outbox the golden boy.

Agreed, that night DLH only had a physical height advantage. Unfortunately for DLH he wasn't fast enough with his jabs to keep Pacquiao away, so he resorted to bending down and in the process losing his height advantage.

DLH has never really been a clincher anyways, although it would have been smart of him to clinch Pacquiao in the 7th, but that would have only been delaying the inevitable.
