Oscar was drained this fight and manny had a different style than Floyd does obviously.

Floyd is cautious and a counter puncher, Manny = aggressor bob and weave fighter.... Styles and age makes fights.

Manny was anything but the aggressor yesterday. He kept his distance and killed Oscar with the lead lefts, then he occasionally went on the inside quickly, and got out after getting a few shots in.

I understand floyds welter resume was lackluster, but thats one division. At 140 NOBODY fought ANYBODY, that includes cotto, hatton, and mayweather. Tszyu losing to hatton threw that division in disarry, since hatton basically ducked floyd, cotto was too young and green, and floyd was looking to basically move up anyway with no real threats at 140 other than tszyu and hatton, which neither fight would ever materialize.

And stil he was a welterweight champion, who was considered the best ww by many including you. If he wants to be great, why doesn't he fight the best. He chose not to fight Margarito, he ignored Cotto and he picked the fights he knew he could win for sure.

What Many did today has clarified what I always knew to be true. Mayweather is by no means an all time great. The DLH that Manny fought today is not far off from the DLH, Floyd fought 1 year. Floyd fought DHL to a split decesion while Manny totally dominated, shut him out and stopped him. Just imagine what Cotto and Margarito would have done to DLH. Not to take anything from Many, he fought a great fight and he's one hell of a fighter. But he has no business in the welterweight division.

Mayweather is just a big hype job, who knew who to fight and when to fight. He may have retired thinking he's an all time great, but there are many out there proving that he just all hype.

He ignored cotto and retired after he fought hatton. He basically settled his nemesis from 140 and retired. Sure floyd runs his mouth about being the best and this and that, but so what, he has a place in history, just not as high as he thinks, its not that big of a deal. When cotto starts taking challanges at 160, 4 divisions up from where he started, then we will see how you feel then. Mayweather basically didint take on guys that were way bigger than him, and you are faulting mayweather for not fighting guys 3 times his size, calling him a ***** basically. Thats fine, just remember that cotto and mayweathers careers almost mirror each other, both moved up one division and established themselves in nearly the same fashion.

Again mayweather is already great, he already has a place in history, although he didint take on the best welterweights of the time, it doesnt erase who he was as a fighter, much to your dismay.

Me too. Oscar is nowhere near shot like some people claim, he only fought ONCE since the Mayweather fight and has received no damage. Weight is another excuse. Over-training is another. Dehydration is yet another.

What else can anyone come up with to discredit Manny? Keep going. This bull**** is quite entertaining.
