    Mayweather greatness debunked

What Many did today has clarified what I always knew to be true. Mayweather is by no means an all time great. The DLH that Manny fought today is not far off from the DLH, Floyd fought 1 year. Floyd fought DHL to a split decesion while Manny totally dominated, shut him out and stopped him. Just imagine what Cotto and Margarito would have done to DLH. Not to take anything from Many, he fought a great fight and he's one hell of a fighter. But he has no business in the welterweight division.

Mayweather is just a big hype job, who knew who to fight and when to fight. He may have retired thinking he's an all time great, but there are many out there proving that he just all hype.

Only *****s think Floyd is the best fighter of this generation. Fact is Manny has surpassed him in accomplishments. I disagree with you on Manny not fighting at welter. Think of the possibilities. Manny is all balls.

Oscar was drained this fight and manny had a different style than Floyd does obviously.

Floyd is cautious and a counter puncher, Manny = aggressor bob and weave fighter.... Styles and age makes fights.

        BMWM3P you know this..

Give Both Manny and Floyd Credit on beating an Oscar de la hoya who can't do well against fighters with speed.

What he's saying is floyd win wasn't impressive because manny beat Oscar..

Look at what Floyd did agaist Gatti, was that cautious counterpunching. While styles may make fights, when Stevie Forbes can give DLH a fight where does that leave Floyd. The fact is DLH won a lot of rounds against Floyd, Manny demolished him. If Manny could do to DHL what Floyd did to Gatti, then what stopped Floyd from doing the same.

FLoyd was shown to be a hypejob today and when Manny KOs Hatton be even clearer that Floyd really wasn't that great.

I agree with the OP. Mayweather's "victory" over Oscar looks even less meaningful today. It wasn't very conclusive then and after what Manny just did tonight...who cares?
