Wlad's chin is certainly as good as Rahman's. Who in boxing has a chin like McCall's?

[QUOTE=kenso;4422697]actually i disagree with this. vitali has a much better chin than wlad (probably best chin in the whole damn division), but wlads boxing skills are much superior to vitalis IMO. vitali may have been cut in that fight, but vitali was whipping lewis's ass. he wasnt leading on the score cards for nothing. coincidence that lewis retired right after that fight instead of giving the promised rematch? people are wrong in saying lewis had nothing left to prove. vitali had just put lewis through hell, and instead of rematching, lewis retired. wise decision. with that said, lewis had a fantastic career, but to me, vitali won that fight, and if lewis wanted to erase any questions he would have went out on a REAL win over vitali klitschko.

Lewis punched holes into Vitali's face. Klitschko's face wasn't falling apart "for nothing" That's a "real win" no matter how you want to spin it. Leading on the scorecards doesn't mean **** unless the fight goes the distance which it did not.

sometimes things like cuts, etc must be taken into consideration. lewis opened up a large cut on vitalis face and kept hitting the cut. lewis was the one taking hard shots, getting thrown around the ring, and repeatedly getting rocked. lewis had the W on his record, but why was everyone cheering for vitali at the end of the night? how come lewis immediately retired after the fight after promising a rematch? fact is, the fight was stopped because the doctor said the CUT was too bad to continue, and it wasnt an unjust stoppage, but that night vitali was whipping lewis's ass. if vitali REALLY lost that fight, i wonder why he had more fans after the fight than he did before.... usually when you LOSE a fight, you dont see your stock rise.

regardless, i dont think lewis faced anyone as good as wladimir, and i dont think wladimir faced anyone as good as lewis. its only speculative as to who would win.

wlads skills as a boxer are much more disciplined than lewis's, and vitalis for that matter. while it is true wlad has been knocked out before, so has lewis. i think wladimirs defense is far superior to lewis's, and that lewis wouldnt be able to outbox him. wlad ko's lewis IMO, but we will never know.
Lewis was on weak legs, but he was also coming on and giving every ounce he had like a true champ should. Vitali had two horrible gashes that were getting worse by the second. That's a legit KO, just an anti climatic one.

On topic, Lewis always beats Wlad.

I think Wlad might still be going uphill with his boxing. I don't think we've seen his best yet.

Although Wlad can change any fight with one punch i have Lewis winning this 9 out of 10 times...
