wlads skills as a boxer are much more disciplined than lewis's, and vitalis for that matter. while it is true wlad has been knocked out before, so has lewis. i think wladimirs defense is far superior to lewis's, and that lewis wouldnt be able to outbox him. wlad ko's lewis IMO, but we will never know.
This is a guy who got knocked down 3 times by Sam Petter?? What defense are you talking about?

Which was prime Lewis? The 29 year old that was starched by a single punch in rd 2 from clubfighter McCall? If his prime was before that, he sure wasted it fighting poor competition. Most say his prime was in his mid 30's, where he was starched by journeyman Rahman in 5, but then say he was shot at 37 when he fought Vitali. Funny, I thought 37 was mid 30s.

The best Lewis was probably the one in the Rahman rematch. Lewis was at his best when he was motivated, so in a lot of his fights he didn't really show just how good he could have been.

Saying McCall is a club fighter is just silly. The guy has physical gifts most people can only dream of.
