of course, oscar is not all-time-great but he certainly has a place in history. and those who still believe that trinidad won their only fight should review the fight. a boxing match is scored 10-point must per round. oscar was dominating trinidad from round 1 to round ten, and backpedalled only in rounds 11 and 12 and lose, not to trinidad but to the judges.

i can't believe the 11 and 12 rounds for trinidad can offset the ten rounds for delahoya.

The fight was a lot closer than you just described.

Rounds 1, 4, 8, and 10 were all close rounds. 9 was rather close too.

Oscar skipped Tszyu at 140 and got knocked out by a body shot. No ATG has ever been KTFO by a body shot. If somebody can think of one, please name him.

On Oscar, I think its the way he lost. He was a great eight round fighter but coughed up leads at defining moments. The way he punked out vs. Tito was horrid and the Hopkins fight reeked of quit. and I thought Tito backed into a win over Oscar by a point, and that was Tito mitigated by weight issues.
