So first the excuse is that America is indeed tough cause crazy muthaphukas in Philly be shooting each other up on regular basis. I dont know if thats considerd tough, but last time I checked, just about anyone is capable of pointing a 9mm to someones face and pulling the trigger. Anyone actually fired off a weapon before? Easy peasy. I've had the pleasure of firing an AK-74, had no problems, neither do those 12 year old soldiers in Africa, I'm sure a glock is less problematic to operate.

Thats not tough. Tough is having balls to have a one on one fight with bare fists. A concept lost in North America (I study in Canada currently...here its who brings more gats or whose got more men), never just, who can actually beat someone in a fist fight.

pulling a trigger doesn't involve any balls, these are the same "tough guys" who are too scared to fight one on one and when they do they're the type to sucker punch or jump somone 8 vs 2, you can call me an ******* or a racist but i really believe that's the reason i have yet to see a black guy, in real life, in a 1 on 1 fight

me and my friends would get in fights, you win some you lose some no big deal, but alot of blacks and ******s have such a fragile ego when it comes to how they perceive themselves and being "gangsters" that getting their teeth knocked out and losing a fight would be too earth shattering for them, they're lacking heart

i'v seen it too many times, they either ***** out when it's time too step up, or odd man jump them and then act like that makes them tough, it's sickening

2 things, i do not mean to stereotype and i'm sure it's not all blacks who are like that and i'm sure latinos and whites do it too, it's more men in general these days, you have a whole generation of men growing up who have never even been in a fight
and two, yes i live in a decent sized city and there are lots of black people and i have seen this happen more times than i can count

I'll tell you story about Saint Constatine the way he was converted to the Light. He went out to battle with the troops against I forget who and voice came from heaven and showed him the sign of the cross and voice from heaven said "In Hoc Signo Vinces" Of course you dont believe it though because somehow you have a better authority than teh Holy Spirit.

I know the story, although it's bee a long time. I look it up a bit later to refresh.

He saw the vision in a dream and woke with a sign for his troops to put on their shields; this "God" will protect them from the Pagan gods that the Roman Emperor is going to fight with.

Some would argue He needed a rallying point to help boost the morale of his troops since they were going up against a bigger force. So why not say you had a vision with a God that was basically suppressed by the Roman Emperor; an underdog and said to be the divine son of God.

I've also read that Constantine didn't quite follow Christianity during his reign because he basically knew he would be a hypocrite to call himself a follower of Christ while ruling the Roman Empire the way he had to. He waited until he was on this death bed to commit.


Constantine is also said to be responsible for having the book edited and revised to fit what he wanted in order to spread the message through the Roman Empire.

IMO the people who get invoved in are usually knuckleheads of from the street. They got problems and aggression and are usually alone. So boxing becomes an outlet as well as a sport. However, in football or basketball etc. it's a team sport. You have to depend on each other...yadda yadda yadda.

But someone from the street is usually out for themselves. How can they adapt to the idea of depending on one another?

I just think that they're aren't that many big ass "thugs" who would like to pursue boxing seriously. In America at least.
