NFL/NBA take a tiny fractional amount of the relevant male population. Obviously you ain't noticed American decline below heavy as well because you want a simple reason to explain to your buds.

Most football players and BB players ain't got a clue how to fight anyway.

History my dear, check it out. All disadvantaged groups in the US went through a phase where they provided some of the great fights and became some of the great names in boxing. Currently it's the East Euro/Latino era. Coming decades it may be Asian with something like a population approaching 3 billion Chinese and Indians who pay scarce attention to boxing.

Americans are fat and happy. Few grow up scrapping, and more importantly, few grow up in heavy jobs that develop core strength and character. How do you think a physically inferior older journeyman fighter like Baldy was able to flip the reverse switch in the fighter Kellerman called the best fighter ever, Judah?

All this gangsta stuff in the age demographic boxing draws from is about posing, not doing. Plenty of poor American youth, but what happened to them? Anyone can show up preening and flexing in the presser.

Not sure wether it's good or bad, but it is definately bad for boxing.

There is no reason to think anyone who plays in the NBA could cut it as a boxer. Did you not see the great Ron Artest look like a complete gaylord trying unsuccessfully to fight beer-swilling fans? This after cowering from Ben Wallace.

Why are there "no good American HWs?" Maybe because the rest of the world have simply improved their boxing?
all this is true, everybody wants the easy money, the easy way, by being hot, going on reality shows and being wanksta rappers. boxing actually takes training and discipline, something nobody has time for these days because discipline is old fashioned, and we don't need that anymore. now we live in a soft bull**** society that rewards failure with billion dollar corporate welfare bailouts. a society like this can't survive much longer

I'm not saying my way is better than yours; I am saying...I don't have an answer for you. What may be right for me may not be right for you; and vice-versa. It all exists in this world of accepting and rejecting.

We have our instincts and what we learn and choose to learn...we have experience...and in this country, we have Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

We can choose to fight or we can choose not to...it's up to the person to decide.

everything is an illusion and death and isn't real and dying of it's own nature except Christ's light, God's. That's the nature of anything apart from God.

Have you died and come back...if not; how do you know? Because it was written in a book and you choose to believe in it?

            God is everything...no?
If he is, and he is the all creator, all knowing...look around carefully and use your senses.

We have to remember; we have to go back in time.
