zab had a belt still. they already were supposed to fight. zab was more well known than marg. zab was also less risky.

no brainer for floyd to fight him.
the build up for the fight w/ zab happened before floyd even moved up to 147.

You keep that honey in your thread, and I'll read every post you have. Been loving her since I seen her first King spread, then the second, where shes assuming the position on the wall.

However, that doesn't justify not taking on the best competition available. Nor does it translate into beating the bigger, stronger and harder punchers at 147.

So, again, what was his best comp at 147 and where is that guy today?

            Answer the higlighted part......

You dont ask this of Margs, Cotto, and P Will who all started at a heavier weight than Floyd. Why not?

I think the reason that Floyd never fought them is because he knows that he only has one or 2 more fights left in him, and he wants one BIG fight for the money....

And the other he wants to secure his legacy. If he would have fought Cotto a while back, then he would have won, abd people would say fight Margs. If he beat Margs back then and Margs beat Cotto, but lost to Williams, people would say fight Williams and h is ducking PWill.

I say he is letting them fight it out, like a round robin elimination kind of thing and fights the winner of them, so that his last fight can cement his legacy, instead of fighting, retiring, and still having questions left over.

It was after. And the defeat to Clottey was bull****. I assume you havn't watched the fight. Zab was cut from a headbutt and it was only because the first 30 seconds of the 8th round got counted that Zab didn't get a draw.

****ing owned! Get a life ****ing 40 year olds on a forum. You need to back the **** up son!
Let me take u to school son. During an interview with Judah prior to the Cotto fight, Zab claimed that he overlooked Baldomir and didnt train the way he should've, therefore it cost him the fight. Zab said this himself! The "i was tired because Don King had me running around the city" excuse was said right after the fight during the post fight interview to save face for losing to a bum.

As far as the Clottey/Judah fight, u must be the only person in the entire United States who feels Clottey didnt deserve the win against Judah.

I was a big Judah fan myself, but lets be real, the dude has came up short every time he faced top comp.

Why would Marg even consider a fight with Judah at this time? Marg just defeated a guy (Cotto) who beat the blood, piss, and **** out of Judah. What does Judah have to offer Margarito? Absolutely NOTHING!

If Floyd beat one of the big three you haters will say he didnt beat this guy or that guy...

What good would it do beat beat one of them, when he can let them all fight and erase all the questions by beating the winner of the three?

What does them moving up have to do with Floyd refusing to fight them at 147?

Nothing, you're just avoiding the question.

When those guys move up in weight, start calling themselves the best ever all while degrading any potential threat, and then retire,

                  I'll call them on that.

But as of now, they all fight at 147, you know, the division where Floyd refused to face any of them.

As of now, I'd only expect him to fight Tony and Cotto, as those were the only names to come flying out of his mouth.

                      "hes a bum"
                      "easy work"
                      "who has he fought?"
                      "he has 4 losses"
                      "hes not a draw"

That would be good enough for me.
