Margarito gets too much credit...

Well Margarito beat the MAN who everyone thought was the MAN at welterweight after Mayweather retired. If you don't give him credit for that, it just means that Cotto was very overrated. I personally think Cotto is one of the best fighters today and like it or not, he got his ass handed to Margarito.

Hey I gave Margarito credit for beating Cotto, I said it was a great win for him. But Margarito didn't win on skill lets be honest. He won because he was the naturally bigger and stronger man therefore he was able to take Cottos punches and not be effected. Is that a fair assessment?

No actually i didnt say he came up from 147 his last fight so dont put words in my mouth. Obviously he didnt come up from 147 since he fought Kolle at 160. But 147 is Paul Williams best weight that's what I was saying. And just like Margarito he really shouldnt be fighting at 147 but unlike Margarito he has skills to move up and still be successful because he actually has skill other then to just overpower his opponent.

You say Margarito beats up on smaller guys but yet ignore Hopkins, who has a habit of making people go up in weight to face him.

Uhhh what are you talking about? Hopkins went up to 175 from 160 and beat Antonio Tarver who was the man at that division. You also seem to forget that he is really a middleweight which he fought the majority of his career as. Let's not act like he's a full fledged Light Heavyweight.

Tarver is the only lightheavy he fought. Everyone else, came up to fight him, Winky, Kelly, and Joe.
