Where did I say Benn hit as hard as Jackson? I think Jackson and McClellan are the two hardest punchers of all time.

In fact come to think of it.. Why are you using Jackson as a measuring stick for Benn's power? Jackson makes almost anyone seem feather-fisted.

the title of this thread is sensationalized but i stand by everything i wrote on the opening page Benn was a big puncher but not as big as people believe he was deffo not in the league of Hamed,Jackson,Tyson,Hearns,Arguello etc

there are big punchers then there are big punchers and Benn whilst a big puncher was no where near as dangerous as these guys imo

You say Benn's punching power is a myth because he doesn't hit as hard as some of the hardest punchers of all-time?

Who says Benn is one of the hardest punchers of all-time? I guess that's the reason you made the thread, because as far as i'm concerned and so is a majority of this forum, Benn hit hard. But comparing him to the hardest hitters in the modern era is pointless.

That's one of the most contradicting sentences i've seen for a while. I don't think i need to explain why.

yes because some people seem to think he was in that bracket and act like he could take you out with one shot when he proved he could not have the same impact on the better fighters when he moved up in class so therefore his power was overrated
