Hatton should take the fight with De La Hoya or Pac. A win over Witter doesn't give you the right to fight Hatton. If Bradley can get another belt or two then this fight would make more sense.

then why did floyd request the fight be at 147 if he could make 140?

Who's a better contender at this point?

        Hatton just beat Malignaggi.

Torres and Holt are tied up with each other.

I can't see anyone else in this terrible division that would be a better opponent for Hatton at this point.

If you say Marquez or Pacquiao, I'm probably going to laugh at you, because they don't have anything that is the equivalent of a Witter win at 140, right?

Hatton isn't about fighting for belts at the moment he wants the big fights. Hatton can fight Pac at 140 and that fight means a lot more than a fight with the overrated Bradley.

So your first post says something about unifying belts being the key to getting a fight with Hatton.

Then your second post says that Hatton is not interested in belts.

            Which is it?

Witter was rated the 2nd best fighter at 140 when Bradley beat him. He didn't only beat Witter he beat him clearly.

Bradley is now currently ranked right behind Hatton.

It is the best fight at 140 and would be a great fight for Bradley to get some exposure.

Would be a good fight. It all depends when the Hatton vs Pac/DLH match goes down.

                  Hmmm

Well, if Bradley managed to unify the belts, that would give him a lot more leverage in terms of his star power. Ask anybody who Timothy Bradley is and they won't have a clue. Winning more belts would give him more exposure to the media. Pac is known throughout the world and is the far bigger fight.

And I say again, what has Bradley done to deserve a payday with Hatton? You think that Bradley want's to fight him for his WBO belt, or Ring Championship? haha

Clearly he wants the payday, that is obvious. Blah, it's **** like this that makes the sport about half as cool as it could be.

Anyway, I'm just saying, unification of titles doesn't make your name in the sport.

Otherwise, Juan Diaz would be a PPV star.

Hatton camp were the ones who asked it at 147. If they fought at 140 and Hatton had lost that would fuck him up since he would be title less.
