prime just isn't if you're young. tyson declined by 89'.

        tyson vs tua

Tua had a left hook. Tyson uppercut, big right hand, bodyshot and a great hook.

        Tyson is much better.

Tyson would knocked him within 3 rounds

i never said anything about age.

          i view prime tyson pre-jail.

i'm a big tyson fan and before excused the buster loss due to not training well , changing his fundamentals , bad cornerwork , out of shape , distractions , etc.

as the years go by i think buster would have beat any tyson that night.

Tyson didn't show any signs of decline until after he had been to prison.

Prime = Mental and Physical best/peak

Anybody that knows anything about Tyson knows his best ended with the Spinks fight; the last fight he had with Rooney. Not only do fans acknowledge it, but Atlas, knowledgeable sports writers in boxing, and good trainers (like Roger Mayweather), all point to Tyson leaving Rooney as his downfall.

So, Mike Tyson up to Spinks and David Tua up to Ike. I don't think Tua was at his best anymore after the Ike fight.

I think it is a close fight with Tyson's normal combo of body to head, especially the body shot to the ribs up with the uppercut might be the differnce. Tua likes to tuck his chin tight to his chest so the big guys can't exploit it. Tyson can exploit it by using his uppercut right on Tua's chin.

Tyson also had a jab, Tua really didn't.

I favor a Close UD for Tyson. If they fought twice, they should just retire afterwards.

Tyson actually was a fan of Tua and the same for Tua with Tyson.

buster douglas standing in front of a prime mike wouldn't have made it past the third round. tyson dropped douglas with one punch in the 8th or 9th round.
