i don't think he was exposed...i mean his opponet was b-hop so you can't really say he was exposed. one thing tho is he don't throw alot of punches.

Well Hopkins has been beaten many-a-times, and we don't say that he's been exposed, right?

I disagree with both of you options so I wont vote but no he wasn't exposed rather he has never faced an opponent like Hopkins thus he was made to look bad but there was nothing to real expose that we didnt already know.
Pavlik will go back down to 160 and **** heads up, hopefully starting with Abrahams.

Pavlik is good but not as good as some of you thought.

So i was wondering what you all think?

Was Pavlik exposed by B-Hop and will never be the same?

            OR

Was he simply just not himself that night and beaten by the better man?

            poll coming soon... discuss
I think to an extent he was exposed as a 1 dimensional fighter, a Trinidad type fighter whom once you've figured him out he can't do nothing differently, he runs out of answers and comes up with only questions afterward. once Hopkins figured him out and just stood away from his jab and his overhand it was over, his best tools were taken just like that. anyone with a good inside game and decent movement can repeat this all day. I say he was exposed because there is now a solid blue print that 9.9 times out of 10 will work on Kelly, it's so effective that even a more nurtured Kelly Pavlik with more strength if anything and nothing wrong with him physically in any way couldn't overcome it, so imagine a Kelly Pavlik down the road or one who comes in less than 100%? it would be a wrap.. it ****ing hurt to say that about Tito, it's true though. he's my favorite fighter period but I am a BOXING fan and I gotta call it fairly.

he is still an elite middleweight. everything hopkins capitalized was there before hand. taylor could have beaten him if he fought better strategy.

exposed? nah, but he was schooled by a fighter unlike any other around for the most part. pavlik is a tough, good middle. he will be ok.

it was a good thing kelly lost. he lost to a legend, got to keep his titles, and learned he was beatable. he got a free lesson and is able to stay on top, thats something thats pretty rare in boxing. there is no other b hop, and b hop is a master at making people look like novices. if kelly is the fighter i think he is, he will come back a much smarter and prepared fighter.

The way they were talking doesn't make it sound like Pavlik's taking the loss well.
