    Pavlik Exposed???

Often times when an undefeated fighter takes his 1st L many people are quick to say they were exposed..... as if to say every undefeated fighter prior to being beaten was a hype job of sorts

So i was wondering what you all think?

Was Pavlik exposed by B-Hop and will never be the same?

    OR

Was he simply just not himself that night and beaten by the better man?

    poll coming soon... discuss

i really wanna know what ya'll think.... mostly because in hindsight a year or so from now it'll be nice to see who called it

i think Pavlik is still a good fighter but Bernard laid down the gameplan to beat him..... moving to the side, giving angles, and surprisingly taking the fight to Kelly (something most fighters dont do with him)...... Bernard used good ol fashioned boxing skills and put on a clinic

Nah I don't think so. Taylor moved back and forth. B-Hop moved side to side, basically in all angels. Also B-Hop was way more experienced on the inside...Best opponents suited for Pavlik are the ones who move in straight lines

Taylor laid the foundation for Hopkins' gameplan, Pavlik was made to look one dimensional by Hopkins and somewhat limited. I don't like the way he seems to be taking the loss but we won't know how much it has affected him until he gets back into the ring.

right right... i think Pavs gonna have problems with any crafty boxers...... the one thing i did notice was Hopkins was turning Pavlik all night, a guy like Jermaine whos used to gonna straight back in lines is gonna get ate up by a guy like Pavlik

Pavlik will have problems with movers, or fighters who gives him lots of angles, but Hopkins is Hopkins, there isn't anyone out there like him, especially at 160 so Pavlik should be OK there.

Hopkins was moving to his right all night, meaning Pavlik's left to move away from his right hand, really surprised that Pavlik's right hand was so limited, he couldn't fire it across his body, his right hand doesn't have too many angles to it.

It's hard to say no, the fashion of the defeat was that dominant. He has to widen his skill set to move forward seriously.
