Who is more Respected to Mexicans? Margarito or Oscar

I think the reason is that Oscar has fought some of the best fighters out there, buit at the same time, he has been picking on smaller fighters. When he did move up in weight and fight at 160, he just boxed and did not go after hopkins.

Margs has fought at the same weight except for a couple bouts at 154, but tony brings it all the time to the ring. He has that warrior mentality

when he beat vargas he earned my respect, he lost alot of it when he ducked margarito, but hes not gonna ever get respected by most fans, his personality is too soft, when he beat trinidad, he was like whatever after getting robbed, he had no passion in him to speak out and say he got robbed, (he sounded like that floyd fan Horus), he sounded like he is too soft, my favorite fighter is morales, then oscar but i hate his whatever personality, most of oscars hators do have a point of what they say, i lost respect from him just his public personality again but i love what he does in the ring, margarito shouldve fought oscar as well

Hes always been rich, I was just talking to a Mexican chick whos her favorite fighter is De La HOya, And I know your an Oscar fan lol thurth is Oscar has meny more fans than Margarito but thats only because Marg lost to Williams,Clottey and Santos. Every Time Oscar goes out and fights a Manny Pacquaio, instead one of his own in a Antonio Margarito. He is Pissing off his own Base of People, Who already a luke warm relationship with him.


Oscar is a superstar in the Sport of boxing
But Being a Mexican Superstar in the sport of boxing carries more weight.
And Oscar is refusing to put himself in the box that most of my mexican friends want to put him in.

Which is, a Mexican Warrior....

Only reason why alot of Mexicans we're upset about Oscar vs Paq is cause they thought it was a weak ass move to pick on a smaller guy cause hardly anyone thought Oscar was gonna come in dead on his feet. We all thought Oscar was gonna come in as his old self and look like a bigger/harder hittin version of Juan Manuel Marquez. That and the fact he destroyed Chavez, alot of us wanted Margarito who was fresh off his win over Cotto to square off with the Goldenboy instead of Paq. Everyone thought Oscar was runnin from Marg and takin the easy way out. Alot of people didn't respect that, but all Manny fights are these kind of fights against stiffs...So I personally approved of Oscar vs Manny lmao. **** the size difference, lol if it's as close as we'll get to seein Manny in a real fight bring it on...but then Oscar showed up dead.

Margarito is comin off a win of a fresh, prime, undefeated fighter in Miguel Cotto. Before that, he also took Cintrons 0 when Kermit was prime and reguarded as the future, and as one of the hardest hitters in the sport. Then he went on to fight Clottey another prime fighter and just ****** the life out of him too. He even almost had Paul Williams tip over late in their fight. Came back to destroy Johnson, and put a hault to Cintrons comeback. Which ultimately lead to the destroying of Miguel Cotto.

Now Oscar...lol he's comin off a loss to "Manny Pacqiaou." lol Nothin could be more embarrassing then that. Oscar gambled his whole career away by tryin to make Welterweight for the first time in how ever many years. If he won, people would eat him alive, if he lost people would eat him alive. The fight only made sense if you wanted to see Paq lose, lol like me. And I want to see that cause there are sooooo many fighters out there that would pounce on Paq, but Roach doesn't have the spine to make any of those fights happen. So to take on a bigger Oscar, lol I was on board.

Oscar, lol just lost to Paq...a fighter who isn't even a real Welterweight let alone a real lightweight. And sadly, I don't think theres anything Oscar can do to redeem himself. Even if he takes another fight and wins, I don't think it will be enough to even touch what Marg has done.

But out of the two fighters, Oscar should be the greatest Mexican fighter of all time. He had the hand speed, the chin, the size, the ability to make a fan out of everyone...lol But we're talkin about a guy who would rather sing than use that time to PERFECT HIS ART. I mean Oscar didn't even get a right hand until Floyd Sr showed up. Oscar should have taken it upon himself to perfect his fight game as oppose to waitin for the right trainer.
