Hatton's chin wouldn't have been able to hold up under Paulie's straight right. Hatton has one of the worst chin's in boxing. Did you see him get knocked out by Mayweather? He even nearly got knocked out by Lazcano.

Paulie should have won tonight, and if it wasn't for that ref and McGirt he would have done a number on Hatton.

Still, I think Hatton now sits behind Pac and Calzaghe as the best P4P fighter in the world.

Hatton is still a flawed fighter. Paulie nearly knocked him out in the first round and once in another round. If Hatton didn't hold so much Paulie would have been able to bust up that eye twice as bad and probably would have been able to stop Hatton. As it was he nearly got the stoppage. That right hand ****ed Hatton up bad.

Still, I think that Hatton is now number four on the P4P list. Maybe three with this win. If McGirt didn't stop it so prematurely though, Paulie still had a chance to catch Hatton coming in and get a TKO. He was starting to get caught on the way in, and even Paulie with no power could have cracked Hatton's chin with one of those solid check hooks.

I think the new Hatton could possibly beat Mayweather though. As long as they fought at 140 of course.

i think at best he caught hatton by suprise with the strength behind some of the punches...i forgot which round it was but in the corner before the round mcgirt told paulie hatton wasn't going to be ready for a right hand and paulie went out if in the next round and hit hatton PERFECTLY with a jab/right hand combo that turned him around a bit.

that was very impressive to me...

i didnt think paulie was really going to get behind that right hand so much...

Nothing ever hurt Hatton in this fight, and it was Paulie doing the clinches, and his next fight will be probally the winner of Manny,Or Oscar, i hope Manny beats Oscar because Hatton and Manny would be a great fight

Oscar will beat both Manny and Hatton easily. The size difference will be too much. Oscar vs Hatton is a mismatch that nobody wants to see. Oscar should try to make fights with the best welterweights out there after he knocks out Manny. Margarito Cotto Williams Berto clottey..etc

The fight i want to see is Hatton and Manny, and yeah theres a huge size difference with Oscar and them, but either way it wouldnt be easily as you say.

I think Oscar should go for those opponents you listed as well, and really liked Oscar till he decided to go after little Manny, but i hope some way Manny knocks his ass out. even though its a long shot. And Oscar will not go near Margarito he has made that clear
